Customer Rating: Summary: Snack Time review Comment: A brilliant album by a brilliant band.
I have been a fan for years and they still manage to surprise me.
A fun travel companion for those of you with kids.
Customer Rating: Summary: Snack Time -- Much anticipated gift for Grandsons Comment: I purchased this as a holiday gift for my kindergarten and preschool grandsons. My daughter is thrilled. I have not heard the CD yet but am delighted that my grandson's parents would have bought it for their sons had I not beaten them to it!
Customer Rating: Summary: Not Bad Comment: I enjoy Barenaked Ladies previous albums. For this album is a nice compilation of short songs for children. Some of the songs I would not put on the album only for the length and for the material itself. When I say material is less than creative. I am a critical person, but it is possible to sample listen to the whole album to make your mind up. I am still a fan of this group and will continue to purchase their work for now.

Multi-platinum recording artist Barenaked Ladies will release Snacktime, a collection of 24 original children’s songs through their imprint label Desperation Records. "Our collective kids now outnumber the band more than 2 to 1," explains vocalist/guitarist Ed Robertson. "We set out to make a record that would be entertaining for them … not strictly a children’s record, but a record that children would really enjoy. Our kids are into all kinds of music. Making the focus about what our kids like was a truly liberating process and fun for the whole band."
