Comment: Very nice space saving device. After 9 years, we wore the teeth off of the gear of our first one, so I had to get another. The knife sharpener worked well, too! Highly recommended

Comment: Bought this to replace an old black and decker under the cabinet opener.
We couldn't use the same holes we had to drill new ones. I doesn't close up like the older one. It doesn't open cans as nicely. It leaves quite a jagged edge on the cans so you have to be cafeful. I have not had any problem with it opening cans and it works on any size. I wish B & D would have kept with something closer in style to the old design. It would have been nice not to have to drill more holes in the underside of my kitchen cabinets.

Comment: We just moved into a new apartment on October 1st and although the kitchen is nice, the counter space is limited. I had a counter top can-opener and we just needed more room. I had read the reviews and was a little wary about buying this can opener because of the negative ones, but I went ahead and got it anyway. I am so glad that I did. Jim had it installed in about 10-15 minutes. It works like a dream and I use it pretty much every day. We were thinking about intalling it back a little on the underside of the cabinet but decided to install it right at the edge to make it easier to remove the blade for cleaning. I've had this can opener for over a month and am very, very happy with it. It opens cans beautifully and the bottle opener is very convenient (no more hunting through drawers). Not only do the colors match my decor but now I have plenty of counter space for my other kitchen appliances. Love it!!

Comment: THE BLACK AND DECKER CAN OPENER IS ATTRACTIVE AND WORKS RATHER WELL.
THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT SOMETIMES ON SOME CANS IT IS A LITTLE DIFFICULT TO ENGAGE THE BLADE.
ALL IN ALL IT IS USEFUL AND WORKS TO MY SATISFACTION.
