Summary: NOT an "Air" Mouse
Comment: Yes, you can hold it in the air. huzzah. Consider: your table mouse moves the cursor as your hand moves the mouse across the table. This "air" mouse does not move the cursor with the movement of your hand whilst airborn. like a composer whose wand doesn't do anything. You need to use the scroll ball with a finger to move the cursor. Kind of like turning an old mouse upside down and pushing its ball around. This should be in a different mice category. I could have flipped my old mouse over and used a slip of paper or something. It would require the same amount of movement and does not achieve cursor movement by hand gesture. If you're that inept at mice use an assistant for your presentation. No need to make redundant technology.

Comment: I bought it and worked fine for a couple of days .. then it just wouldnt work !!! i tried every thing .. used it on 2 laptops 3 pc`s yet it does not work .. very bad quality indeed and i dont recommend it !

Summary: Gear Head Wireless Presentation Mouse
Comment: I purchased this mouse because I was looking for a wireless trackball-like pointing device to replace my other pointing devices. I've had some trouble with my wrist using touch-pads, mice and trackballs.
The Good:
This device has a standard optical mouse mode, as well as the presentation mode. It has 5 buttons and the ability to use the trackball to move the cursor while presenting. Most presentation mice are designed for running PowerPoint presentations, but this device can be used as a primary pointing device. It also has a laser pointer built in. I haven't had any issues with battery life, although I don't use it for extended periods of time. It also comes with a nice carrying case for the mouse, optional USB charger, and USB transmitter.
The Bad:
The trackball sensitivity can't be adjusted, and it lacks accuracy. the ball itself doesn't move as smoothly as I would like, and it makes it difficult to point and click on certain things. The buttons are limited in their programing. There are preselected lists of options for each button and it is not as customizable as I would like. Also, while trying to use this as a mouse replacement, I found it cumbersome to pick up and put down the mouse whenever I needed to type, so I still use the touchpad or a trackball as well (although this is specific to my attempts to replace my pointing device).
Overall this mouse has the most functionality of any mouse at this price. If you can deal with the limitations of trackball accuracy and button programing, you'll probably like it.
