Comment: Yeah right, I'm no sucker and I'd never pay hundreds of dollars for a mouth guard. This one is very comfortable and I highly recommend it. I'm actually on my second one because the first one got wore out from my crazy grinding. Fitting the mouth piece was easy and I'll gladly buy my third, fourth, and fifth plus, as I grind them away. Better the mouth piece then my pearly whites.

Comment: Just like everyone else that's already mentioned, this is the best night guard I've ever used. The kit I got had a regular-sized and a small-sized one. The regular-sized (and just like every other one in the drugstore or supermarket) was too big, but the small-sized one was perfect! I messed up on the first one while I was trying to mold it (I guess the water got too hot, so the whole thing just melted into a big ball),so I contacted Customer Service at Dental Hygiene Preferred Inc. and described my situation. Without even asking for a picture of my plastic "ball", Erin offered to send me a replacement, product AND shipping free-of-charge! She even let me choose what color I wanted (Color really doesn't matter. The point is, not only did she send me a replacement, she let me choose exactly what I wanted). Learning from my first mistake, I boiled the water first, poured it into a small cup, and left the original guard in for 25 seconds, took it out, got rid of the excess water, and molded it. It's perfect! I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an affordable night guard that works well! Don't hesitate to contact CS if you have any questions!

Comment: I guess for what it is it does the job. You could go to your dentist and pay 3-400 dollars. A cheap alternative.

Comment: I love the smaller guard. Only negative is that the instructions are a bit off. I boiled the items for as long as stated and the small one especially got very sticky and lost shape. I had to act quickly to keep from losing it. Could have used better explanation how to press them to the teeth also.

Summary: Mouth Guard...Good for the price!
Comment: I purchased this mouth guard because I was grinding my teeth at night. It worked well for a month and a half until I received mine from the dentist. When I formed it to my teeth it didn't come out perfect. It probably takes practice to make them fit right. The one was a little large for my mouth and the small one wasn't quite big enough. I wish there was an in between size. Overall I am glad I used this for awhile, but still had to order one from my dentist to get a perfect fit!

As a Registered Dental Hygienist, this is the same model night guard I wear and recommend to my patients! Excessive grinding and clenching of the teeth can be extremely damaging. Premature failure of dental restorations, breakage of teeth and gum line recession are common problems associated with the grinding/clenching habit known as bruxism. In our dental practice we make custom fitted guards that sell for hundreds of dollars but we offer these as an alternative when cost is a concern. After trying dozens of OTC (over the counter) mouth guard models these have proven to be the best fitting most comfortable day/night brux/clench/grind guard. These will double as a sports mouth guard but are intended to be used as a protective device for people who grind and clench their teeth and are wanting a better more comfortable fit than a sports mouth guard can offer.
